Leadership Development Courses

Developing future women leaders is a complex process but essential to organizational success. Our courses weave in women’s unique behaviors and attributes into the fabric of a comprehensive leadership development program.

We understand that every organization is different and has different needs. Therefore, the courses listed below are designed to be grouped together to offer a holistic approach to leadership development or offered as stand-alone courses. The full program or individual course includes in-depth discussions with your senior leaders to refine learning objectives and measurement of success for your organization.

The four-part series of courses provide a strong educational foundation for women to sharpen their leadership skills while honoring their distinctive qualities. The full series is offered to a cohort of emerging and current leaders over a four to six-week period. During the weeks between in-person classes, the pre-workshop webinars are specifically designed to continue the learning process and to introduce the next topic. Courses are delivered in-person or by synchronous and asynchronous virtual delivery.

Course 1: Authentic Woman Leadership Workshop

When leaders come from an authentic place they participate fully and honestly to create an engaging and productive workplace. Women leaders have inherent potential lead with authenticity and to be creative, collaborative, and competent. Authentic women leaders foster employee engagement and trust that creates a work environment that supports innovation and organizational achievement. This course focuses on the authentic women's qualities to awaken their leadership potential and generate employee enthusiasm to propel the organization to achieve its mission and vision.

Course 2: Emotionally Intelligent Leader Workshop

Emotional Intelligence is the ability to recognize and manage an individual’s emotions as well as the emotions of others in order to achieve business objectives. Unlike IQ, Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a learned skill that improves with practice. Research shows that professional and financial successes are related to high EI. In this workshop, participants will learn how to engage and lead others with emotional intelligence.

  • Each participant will complete the EQi 2.0 assessment and receive an in-depth report at the workshop

Course 3: Influential Communication and Negotiation Workshop

Communication and negotiation are critical skills for any successful leader. Leaders negotiate every day with colleagues, employees, clients, and vendors. They need skills to reach suitable agreements for each party to benefit from their interactions. Communicating effectively can build your confidence and enhances leadership competencies. This workshop provides practice for you to refine your communication and negotiation skills to identify your style, understand the styles of the other people involved, and provide you with strategies and tools to help you become an effective leader.

  • Communication style assessment using the DISC or Myers Briggs Type Indicator
  • Pre-workshop webinar featuring the basic principles to prepare participants for the course

Course 4: Build High-Performance Teams Workshop

Leading successful teams are essential to leaders’ success in reaching organizational goals. Creating teams with the optimal combination of people and resources will yield outstanding results. High-performance teams have a strong team culture and reach peak productivity. Most women have the capabilities to create a sense of community and can create cohesive working groups. In this workshop, we examine ways for women leaders to enhance their skills to build trust, increase abilities to define clear expectations, and how to lay the foundation for high performing teams.
